I don't think anybody could cook creamed corn like my mother. I keep trying, but it just doesn't have her touch. Also, when the pastor of our church was coming to dinner, along with the visiting pastor (for revival week)she cooked and cooked. The kids were to wait until everyone else had eaten. (How unlike today.) But everything in the house had to be spotless and we were not to mess up anything. (Sorry to ramble on, but it just came out.) See you this weekend.


Hey, all I do is ramble! I used to call Mother's wedding china The Revival Dishes because the only time we were allowed to eat on hem was when she fed the visiting preacher:)
